Art in the Time of Corona was a juried exhibition fundraiser at New Museum Los Gatos. The museum invited local Bay Area artists to submit works of art they have created during their time in quarantine amidst the Coronavirus pandemic. A total of 51 artists were juried into the show. My role in this project was to design the promotional graphics and materials for the submission process, layout design, exhibit graphic design, install and producing the virtual tour version of the exhibition as the museum was closed to the public at the time of the opening.
My design was based off the original inspiration for the exhibit - the novel and movie: Love in the Time of Cholera. I chose a typeface and layout that is reminiscent of older book covers and incorporated an abstracted design element that looks like the pages of a book.
You can view the virtual exhibition page I designed for NUMU on their website.
